WCEI plays what could be considered "soft rock". WCEI offers local news, traffic, and school closing info for Kent
Island and the rest of the Mid-Shore area. WCEI features "The Morning Rush" with Matt Spence & Kelly Lynn, well known
local personality "Big Dob" O'Brien doing mid-days, Don Bumpus in the Afternoon Drive, along
with the syndicated "Delilah" in the evenings.
WCTR-1530AM, Chestertown, MD (410) 778-1530 - Easy Listening / News-Talk station from
the neighboring Kent County Seat. WCTR focuses on Kent and Queen Anne's Counties, including Kent Island. WCTR features
ABC News, National News and Comment, weather, sports, local current events, farm news, and more.
WINX-94.3FM "Shore Country 94.3", Easton, MD (410) 822-3301 - WINX plays country music
and has news, info, traffic and weather for the Mid-Shore. Also the place to hear NASCAR via the MRN Radio Network.
Their tower/transmitter is in Trappe (on the Choptank River) and studio is with WCEI in Easton.
WKHS-90.5FM, Worton, MD (410) 778-4249 - This station broadcasts from Kent County High School during school hours, and relays Philadelphia's eclectic WXPN Radio at other times.

Annapolis, MD (410) 267-7777 - "Your Hometown Station". And In the City and on your app at 99.9FM
WNAV is a Full Service station with the Information You Need and the Music You Know.
WNAV airs local sports, local news/weather/traffic, Chesapeake Bay info, and the Greatest Hits
of All Time. WNAV is the home of Navy Sports and also airs The Baltimore Ravens and
Baltimore Orioles games. WNAV has a live news staff that covers the area very well.
WRNR-103.1FM, Annapolis / Grasonville, MD (410)626-0103 - "Radio Annapolis" plays a unique mix of Progressive Rock, as well as local news, weather, and traffic. The format is called "Adult Album Alternative", and is aimed at a slightly older audience than the average rock station. WRNR's tower is located right in Grasonville (making it the clearest station on Kent Island), while the studio is in Annapolis.
WRYR-97.5FM, Sherwood / Deale, MD (410)867-9677 - WRYR-LP 97.5 is a low powered community radio station run by SACReD, the South Arundel Citizens for Responsible Development. The station is aimed at Southern AA county mainly, but can be heard on about half of Kent Island. WRYR's transmitter is on Tilghman Island, but because they are only 100 watts - they don't have a solid signal on Kent Island, but where you can get them they are well worth a listen!
WYRE-810AM, Annapolis, MD (410) 268-5676 - Spanish language radio. This used to be a cool little eclectic music station, but flipped to Spanish on March 31st 2003. Daytime only radio station.

Kent Island does not have any TV stations on it, but is well covered by both the Balimore, MD stations and the Washington, D.C. stations. WMDT-47 (ABC) and WBOC-16 (CBS) both in Salisbury also come in around Kent Island, but are not in our TV market.

available for $15 for those who live outside our distribution area.

The Star-Democrat, Easton, MD (410) 763-9000 - This daily newspaper does a fair job of covering Kent Island and Queen Anne's County, as well as the other mid-shore counties on the Delmarva. Door to door delivery is available six days a week.
